Businessman Mirel Mërtiri made strong accusations tonight against the prosecutor of SPAK, Klodian Braho, whom he accused earlier of having expanded the entire file of incinerators by manipulating the evidence.

He said that the prosecutor Klodian Braho lied in the vetting by hiding his departure abroad with criminals.

The martyr sent a document to journalist Çim Peka, who showed it on the screen.

“Justice cannot be claimed by certain people who lie in vetting about who they are. How can you trust this prosecutor or the justice that he will deliver when this man lies to the most important people of the country, lies to all international institutions. He is the prosecutor who has extended the beneficial owner term and sent many people to prison. Mr. Klodian Braho lied in the vetting, went abroad with criminals and hid these things. And they are in the document I sent you", said Mërtiri.

"Prosecutor Klodjan Braho passed the vetting based on the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission with decision no. 191 dated July 26, 2019.

Regarding the decision-making on the confirmation in office of the prosecutor Klodjan Braho, it should be noted that it was taken by a majority of votes, where one of the members of the vetting Xhensila Pinc was against the confirmation in the office of the prosecutor in question, as according to her the criteria were not met in regarding the evaluation of the figure.

In the opinion of the minority of the president of the veting, Xhensila Pine, it is justified that the subject of the reassessment, K]odjan Braho, according to article DH, on the control of the figure, of the Constitution, had the obligation to fill in the truth and accuracy of the declaration for the control of the figure and according to appendix 3 of law no. 84-2016 referring to the constitutional amendment

(Article DH), Article 61/3 of Law no. 84/2016 and decision no. 11 dated 12.09.2018 of the Posacem College of Appeal, regarding the criterion of the purity of the figure, the subject of the reassessment has made an insufficient declaration for the criterion of the control of the figure. This reasoning has to do with the denunciation of the conviction for drug trafficking of the elder brother of his wife Ergys Veraj, as well as the benefits and wealth that this citizen has from the beneficiary made by the subject of the reassessment.

In the explanations he submitted to the commission for the results of the investigation, Klodjan Braho admitted the fact that Ergys Veraj was prosecuted and criminally sentenced in the Italian state, before he stated that he was not aware of the fact that his brother-in-law is involved in organized crime. According to

provision of point 15, of article 3, of law no. 84/2016, the citizen Ergys Veraj is considered to be involved in organized crime and therefore the subject had the obligation to declare this fact in the declaration for the control of the figure in part 5 of it, of the column of security data. Prosecutor Klodjan Braho, before completing the statement for the control of the figure, should do all the necessary verifications in order to complete it with truth and accuracy according to the constitutional obligation, of the declaration for the control of the figure, among others, part 5 of it.

This decision was made by majority vote and was not appealed by the public commissioner", it is stated, among other things, in the lawsuit that Mertiri submitted to Çim Peka.
