"Kill me, I don't deserve to live" - ​​This is how the 57-year-old man who caused the tragic accident this Sunday afternoon in Durres, where two children lost their lives, while another is in critical condition at the Trauma Hospital, reportedly began his testimony before the police.

Nikollë Radaçi was questioned twice by the investigation team, as he was initially in a serious psychological state and under the influence of alcohol.

He allegedly stated that he was drunk at the time of the accident and that he does not remember anything from the event, while expressing shock at the serious consequences.

According to sources, the 57-year-old had become a constant concern for residents of the area, who had made several complaints to the police about driving at high speed and while intoxicated.

In fact, just the day before, a resident narrowly avoided an accident with his minor nephew. It is learned that he had previously been punished by the police, while on two occasions his driving license was revoked due to drunk driving.

The tragic event, according to residents' testimonies, is seen as a planned accident.
