The minor who was injured in a car crash this afternoon in Durrës has been transported to the Trauma Hospital.

In a public response, the Ministry of Health announced that the child has suffered multiple injuries and is in serious condition, including unconsciousness.

" The minor is currently in the Trauma Hospital. His condition is serious, as he has multiple injuries. The minor is conscious ," the ministry says.

Four children were playing on the sidewalk when a vehicle driven by Nikoll Radaçi lost control and hit three of them.

As a result of the collision, two minors died at the scene, while another is in hospital in critical condition, under the care of doctors. One of the children escaped without injury.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident immediately after the incident, abandoning the vehicle, but was later arrested by police.

Sources indicate that the suspect is suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
