"Oh God, what have I done..." - The moment when the 57-year-old man

"Oh God, oh God, what have I done...", these were the words of 57-year-old Nikoll Radac after he ran over three children who were playing on the sidewalk with his four-wheeler, in neighborhood no. 15 of the city of Durrës.

From the released footage, the 57-year-old is seen hitting three minor children and then exiting his vehicle and not approaching anyone, but deciding to run away.

Radaç, whose escape did not last long and after being arrested by the Durrës police, gets out of the vehicle and puts his hands on his head.

At that moment, many citizens immediately approached to provide first aid to the children, while the driver and person responsible for this accident decided to leave.

The serious incident was recorded at around 2:20 p.m. in neighborhood no. 15 of the city of Durrës, where the 57-year-old man, at breakneck speed, crashed his vehicle into three minors who were playing in their neighborhood.

Unfortunately, as a result of the collision, the two 10-year-olds died at the scene, while their 8-year-old friend is fighting for his life at the Trauma Hospital, where he was urgently sent as he is in critical condition.

Media sources indicate that the driver of the white "Benz" SUV was found to be intoxicated at the time he took the three children away.

He was speeding and lost control, crossing onto the sidewalk where the three minors were playing with a ball.

Immediately after the accident, Radaçi, who is also a resident of the area, fled the scene, but the immediate intervention of the officers led to the arrest of this citizen.
