Other details have come to light regarding the violent clash that occurred in Fier prison, where two convicts were injured after a knife fight.

It is reported that the incident began during a meeting between the convicts and it is suspected that everything escalated after a phone call and a verbal clash.

Julian Zotaj and Aldo Gjini are suspected of approaching Denis Brajovic, inviting him for a coffee. During their stay together, Zotaj used his mobile phone to make a phone call.

As Top Channel reports, during the conversation, a criminal figure, who is currently wanted by the police, appeared on the phone to Brajovic. It is reported that during the conversation there were verbal insults and threats.

It was Julian Zotaj who pulled out an improvised knife and attempted to attack Brajovic, who was able to take the knife from Zotaj and, following the conflict, wounded him in the neck area, while he himself sustained an injury to his hand.

The two injured have been transported for medical assistance and, according to current information, are out of danger.

According to the testimony given by Brajovic, he did not have any conflict with the people he fought with and that he had accepted the visit for coffee in the sector, since he knew and had a friend, therefore a guarantor, Aldo Gjini.

According to journalist Anila Hoxha, Aldo Gjini, after this incident, was transferred to the high-security prison in Burrel, while Jurgen Zotaj was sent from the Fier hospital to the Prison Hospital Center in Tirana. While only Denis Brajovic or Bajri was held in the Fier prison.

On the other hand, the Fier Police, together with the local Prosecutor's Office, are conducting investigations to establish the causes of the fight between two prisoners that resulted in injuries.

It is learned that 6 prison police officers have been questioned, while 4 of them are expected to be suspended.
