The Italian police of Bologna have cracked down on a case of trafficking of significant amounts of drugs over the past few hours.

The operational team announced that a 52-year-old Albanian man was handcuffed, who was hiding 15 kg of narcotics drugs in an apartment in 'Via Bigari'. The intervention came after information about the Albanian's suspicious movements in the area and data that he possessed the narcotics in the apartment.

The officers' checks led them inside the suspect's refrigerator, where 25 packages of cellophane containing hashish and 5 others containing marijuana were found hidden, with a total weight of approximately 15 kilograms.

The Albanian was arrested on charges of possession for the purpose of distributing narcotics and was sent to Dozza Prison, awaiting a hearing on the sentence.
