A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded in the capital on Thursday evening under still unclear circumstances.

The minor was admitted to the Trauma Hospital at around 8:30 PM. The incident reportedly occurred in Fushë-Mëzez, and it was his father who transported him to the hospital. 

When questioned by the investigation team, the 15-year-old refused to say who injured him or the circumstances of the conflict.

The boy's father was also questioned, who stated that he had no knowledge of the incident, but heard gunshots. The minor underwent surgery for the bullet wound in the chest and is out of danger.

Meanwhile, police officers, together with the investigation group, are working to clarify the circumstances and apprehend the perpetrator.
