The Supreme Court has rejected the request of Fran Frrokaj, former mayor of Lezha, who requested the suspension of the execution of the Special Appeal decision, which sentenced him to 2.8 years in prison for abuse of office.

The Appeals Court decision was issued on December 23, 2024, but has not yet been executed because Frrokaj has not been caught by the police.

The police have conducted several searches to capture him, but have not yet been able to locate him. Frrokaj is currently officially wanted.
