The prosecution has ordered the Kosovo Police to arrest the suspect for subsidy fraud in Peja.

The spokesperson of the Prosecution in Peja, Shkodran Nikqi, has confirmed that Ardiana Begolli has been arrested.

" On the order of the prosecutor, the Kosovo police arrested the suspect for the criminal offense of fraud. The state prosecutor has detained him for 48 hours ", said Nikçi.

How did Ardiana Begolli fall into the trap?

Ardiana Begolli, allegedly managed to get thousands of euros from farmers.

Hiding behind the cloak of humanitarian, Begolli created a fraud scheme by promising farmers tractors and agricultural machinery, which according to her would come for free from the friendly country Denmark, while the farmers would pay only the transport costs.

An amount that amounted to 250 euros for a tool, while they were constantly added if the farmer wanted other agricultural machines.

Faced with an "irresistible" offer, the farmers agreed to give the money.

Thus, the first farmer who contacted Ardiana had to create a group of five people who should make the payment.

The payment went into the pocket of Ardiana Begolli, who had managed to create a profile of a humanitarian using an association in her name, but which was legally not recognized by the Kosovo institutions.

After receiving the money from the farmers, she started holding on to the hopes that the agricultural machinery would come, while pushing them towards orders for other agricultural tools, to increase her profits more and to "sink" the farmers even worse. poor people, who later "smelled" that there was a smell of fraud here, and not a fraud at all, but with a scenario prepared in detail by Begolli, who, until she faced us, thought she was going to kill him. But sometimes… things don't go according to plan.

So after the denunciations received in the "Piranja" editorial office, we got to work, to find out what is hidden behind this association, supposedly a charity, since... the devil is hidden in the details.

So, we got into the role. As a farmer interested in agricultural equipment, we contacted Begolli and made an appointment.

Here, out of a great desire to get as much money as possible, Ardiana was ready to meet us and do the next shopping, which in the end was not what she expected.

After we signed to give the money on a pad, without a stamp and no formal details, the topic came up to the money, which Ardiana Begolli did not want to receive in the open in the bar where we had gone to close the deal.

And we didn't spoil it, we went to take the money to the car, where I was actually and the surprise reserved for. Instead of money, the confrontation with the truth began.

Faced with the facts, Begolli continued to insist that she is not a fraud and that the farmers would receive the agricultural tools, but when we asked her for a single document that proved her cooperation with the foundation in Denmark that, according to her, would bring the tractors and machines agricultural, she had nothing to say and hurried to the car.

But leaving does not mean that you escape from facing the truth and justice. Therefore, the case is now in the hands of the justice of Kosovo, which has started the investigations.
