Another crackdown on online fraud has been carried out by the State Police, as part of Operation "XUEX".

Police have detained 35-year-old Ereledio Shebeku, suspected of being the main organizer of the fraudulent scheme in the Divjaka area.

The operation was carried out by the Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Directorate, in cooperation with the Fier Police and with the support of the Prosecutor's Office.

Police urge citizens to be wary of suspicious platforms and report any cases of fraud.

Police announcement:

The Cybercrime Investigation Directorate at the Criminal Police Department of the State Police announces that, following the "XUEX" operation, in cooperation with the Fier Police Directorate and with the close support of the Fier Prosecutor's Office, the arrest of the person suspected of being the main organizer for the Divjaka area, citizen E. Sh., 35 years old, has been finalized.

This operation demonstrates the determination of the specialized structures of the State Police to crack down on fraudulent online activities, with the aim of protecting citizens and public safety.

The Cybercrime Investigation Directorate of the State Police calls on citizens to be careful and not fall prey to fraudulent platforms, as well as to be careful with their personal and banking data on insecure pages or applications.

Any suspicious case should be reported to the structures of the Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Directorate of the State Police, as well as to the relevant sections in each DVP.
