The Border Police of Durrës has fined a 25-year-old man and blocked his "Jet ski" boat, as he performed dangerous maneuvers in the sea, endangering the lives of vacationers.

It is about the citizen with the initials ET, resident in Durrës. After being escorted to the port, it was established that this driver did not have documents for the vessel.

The Border Police blocked the boat and fined the ET citizen with an administrative measure in the amount of 10,000 new lek.

The blue uniforms also inform that during this week, in the entire coastal area, frequent checks have been carried out for the vessels and for the enforcement of the obligations not to sail in the areas protected by buoys.

As a result of the controls, from Ksamil to Velipoja, 31 watercraft, mainly "Jet skis" and speedboats, were verified for the documentation they must have, as well as to inform their drivers of the sanctions, in case of violation of security perimeter of vacationers.
