The US Embassy in Tirana has reacted on International Anti-Corruption Day. Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy, Nancy VanHorn, praised the work of SPAK and said that any success they have is "because of everyone else in the justice landscape."

“The fight against corruption really requires a transformation in one’s approach and mentality…One thing that has become clear to me is that when people think about anti-corruption, they think about SPAK. This shows the impact that SPAK has had, so this is a good thing.

"But I think Mr. Dumani would be the first person to say that SPAK does not act alone. Any success they have in investigating and prosecuting cases is because of everyone else in the justice landscape," said Charge d'Affaires Nancy VanHorn, during the launch of the "Integrity Chronicles" project by former IVLP participant Irena Xhafa, who was joined by Minister for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption Adea Pirdeni.

The project, launched on International Anti-Corruption Day, is supported by the US Department of State's Impact IVLP program in partnership with the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, the US Embassy in Tirana announced.
