After three weeks of efforts and difficulties, finally the first Albanian citizens, a mother and her 4 minor children, just left the territory of Gaza.

They are now safe in Egypt, while we follow the procedures for their return to Albania as soon as possible.

"Thanks to the authorities of Israel and Egypt for the cooperation, for the support, as well as to the colleagues of the Albanian embassies in Israel and Egypt for the good work in this situation and complex operation.

We are working closely with the authorities for the quick and safe return of other Albanian citizens who are in Gaza", writes Foreign Minister Igli Hasani on social networks.
