"...when I decided to knock on your institution to give explanations and clarify my position on everything that has happened in my life and to my family, I gave up everything, including revenge for what has happened to me and my family. I have already left everything in the hands of justice...".

With these words, Erjon Alibej, known by the nickname "Krymi", begins his confession to SPAK officers and prosecutors. The man with the largest record of financing murders (7 such) in the "Golden Bullet" file, has indicated that he would confess his involvement in various crimes and what he knew and had heard about other crimes.

Alibej was questioned 10 times at SPAK, where through video-audio recordings he showed what he knew about the crimes committed in Elbasan and other cities.

Journalist Elton Qyno has learned that for 3 years, Alibej has been used by SPAK as a witness in 6 criminal files, the latest of which is file no. 287, which concerns 20 people arrested in connection with drug trafficking and money laundering in the Zvërnec area, construction in Tirana and beyond.

Erjon Alibej turns out to have been included as a witness in the criminal case against two of his friends, Xhuljano Hoxha and Euglen Halili, in the criminal case known as "Golden Bullet", where he himself is a defendant, in the criminal case against Plaurent Dervishaj and Julian Meçaj, in the criminal case against the brothers Franc and Hajdar Çopja and members of their group, in the criminal case against Suel Çela and his group, in the criminal case against two journalists from Kronika e Zezë, as well as in the criminal case against Artur Shehu, Artur Koçek and other businessmen.

But Erjon Alibej has never been asked about his knowledge of who the perpetrators of the murder of the family members of Zenel alias Andon Mahmut, known in Elbasan by the nickname "Nel Çami", are.

The relationship between Erjon Alibej and Arjan Spahiu is a close family bond. Alibej has never told SPAK about a conflict that is well known in Elbasan, the old enmity between the Alikaj-Mahmuti families on one side and the Çaka-Spahiu on the other.

Erjoni must know and show who organized, financed and killed the family members of Zenel Mahmuti, citizen Emin Mahmuti, his son Xhelal Mahmuti, Pëllumb Mahmuti and the serious injury of Myzejen Qosja alias Mahmuti.

And the same goes for telling, on the other hand, about the enmity between the Alikaj family in Elbasan and the cousins ​​Everest Çaka and Arjan Spahiu.

In his testimony, Erjon Alibej alias "Krymi" admits that he embarked on the path of murder in revenge for the crimes against his family members, Endri Alibej, uncle Arben Dylgjeri, cousin Andi Zylyfi, Sandër Baho and his Turkish friend, Erdal Duranay.

After being imprisoned and the discovery of the series of crimes by Nuredin Dumani, Erjon Alibey has expressed deep remorse in the hope of saving himself and his family from this ordeal of successive crimes.

But with his confession both to SPAK and in court, defendant Erjon Alibej did not lead to the identification of any new criminal event or the arrest of any other person, of whom SPAK was unaware.

He has told about his family's ordeal, which began with the frontal "war" between childhood friends of the Çopja family, Kel Kamami, the conversations he had with Suel Çela, Arjan Spahiu, Sandër Baho, Bujar Gërmizin, Florenc Çapjan, Kamer Mehja and others, and the orders or financing he received to carry out the murders with Arjan Spahiu and Nuredin Dumani.

The murders carried out in the Durrës-Rrogozhinë-Peqin-Bradashesh-Elbasan segment and their financing have been revealed by three other repentant individuals before Erjon Alibej. Alibej's repentance was carried out two years after he was arrested by the Elbasan prosecutor, Ritvan Suka.

And this repentance came two years after other SPAK collaborators, Euglen Halili, Henrik Hoxhaj (expelled) and Nuredin Dumani, had revealed a good part of the criminal dynamics directed and financed by Erjon Alibej.

Alibej's confession did not lead to any arrests for SPAK. It's just that his confessions were used by SPAK as make-up evidence in several other files registered against criminal elements, where the general and main evidence is the "Sky" communications.

On June 29, 2023, Erjon Alibej entered into a plea agreement with the SPAK Special Prosecution Office, based on 7 points, where, among other things, Alibej would tell everything without reservations and SPAK prosecutors would undertake to reduce the sentence or waive the remaining sentence.

This is not a contract of repentance, but a contract of hope to escape life imprisonment, Erjon Alibej.

From mid-2023 to mid-2026, the SPAK convict continues to testify as a convict in 6 criminal cases, in some of which he has no connection, neither to clarify his criminal position nor to the position of his family and friends.

Recently, Erjon Alibej has also appeared as a repentant witness in file no. 287 of 2021, in which SPAK has prosecuted 20 people on various charges.

On April 3, 2026, Erjon Alibej was questioned at SPAK as a witness for justice, stating:

"...that regarding the connection of Artur alias Luciano Koçeku with businessman Ilir Shtufi, in the completed constructions, Artur Koçeku personally communicated to him that he was investing in the construction with him and that in collaboration with him, financing it 'in cash' in large amounts of money, a fact that is also known from the joint company, since Artur Koçeku behaved as an owner in the facilities that were being built by Ilir Shtufi, as well as the fact that later these persons and others involved in the drug trafficking introduced cash to Ilir Shtufi in certain facilities built by him...".

He said that this information was told to him by Artur Koçek himself, whom he had a friend with. And the statement that Artur Koçek made to him, Erjon Alibej, after more than 8 years, tells SPAK prosecutors to uncover collaborations in money laundering and drug trafficking.
