College of Europe in Tirana, Rama: Pride! Ready to offer Albanian citizenship to
Edi Rama

Today, the Agreement was signed between the College of Europe, the Ministry of Education and the University of Tirana for the new home of the College of Europe that will open its doors in Tirana.

Prime Minister Rama says that there will be an iconic building, but also EU-like conditions.

" This shows that coming to Albania from the EU can be much more exciting than going from the EU to the EU. Finally, I want to thank the EU delegation here and the EU commissioner who has worked all the time in 360 degrees with us to ensure that on all fronts things are done as tangible as possible in the region. The arrival of the College of Europe makes us very happy and proud.

We are making efforts to have an iconic building and to have it a real European education destination not only in terms of programs and the spatial aspect and the quality of life for students from the auditoriums to the dormitories. Although in Tirana young people sleep later and later because the entertainment life is more and more attractive, especially after midnight , said Rama.

Rama said that it would be an honor to grant Albanian citizenship to the rector of the College of Europe, Federica Mogherini.

" I want to share my deepest gratitude to Federica, who is following the project step by step, and on the other hand, I cannot hide the satisfaction that we have that Federica, who is approaching the point where we offer Albanian citizenship, will be more more than an honor to consider her as an Albanian citizen ", said Rama.
