A terrorist attack occurred today at the main facility of the Turkish Aerospace Industry (TAI) in Ankara, Turkey.

According to preliminary information, there were at least three people who attacked the building, which employs 1,500 people.

It is suspected that one of the perpetrators approached and blew himself up, then there was an exchange of fire between the guards of the building and the other perpetrators.

From the attack, it is reported that there are dozens of victims and some dead.

A large number of ambulances and rapid intervention forces have already arrived at the scene.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that "a terrorist attack has occurred at the TUSAŞ Ankara Kahramankazan airport" and that "unfortunately there are victims".

"The wounded inside are being evacuated. This is a very important place in the Turkish defense industry. Precautions have been taken. Special teams have been sent inside. Inspections are also being carried out from the air. We can say that the terrorist who carried out the attack used an automatic weapon ", Turkish CNN reports.
