Fully 81 kilograms of cannabis were seized in an Albanian taxi in Gumenica, Greece.
The local media reports that the Albanian taxi driver and a Greek citizen were handcuffed.
The drugs were hidden in the trunk of the car divided into 72 packages.
The Albanian driver is the citizen Kosta Beqo from Saranda, 54 years old, who was declared wanted after being convicted in 2018, but had received permission to leave prison and never returned.
The other detainee is the 52-year-old Greek citizen, Mikhail Angelo. An amount of 4370 euros was also seized from them.
