The 29-year-old Albanian Angjelo Avdiu was found dead this morning in a village in Greece, hanging from a tree and with his hands tied.

About a month ago, his family members reported the loss of the young man, as the latter had lost contact with them for three days.

Avdiu, the father of a child, lived in Agios Konstantinos Fthiotidas and according to Greek media, he had left on the morning of October 29, while during the night he had stayed with a relative.

His brother revealed in a statement to the Greek media that the 29-year-old had come to the village to talk with his ex-wife and the mother of his child in an attempt to fix the relationship between them.

"We came to talk to his ex-wife who was divorced. Sunday morning we were having coffee and suddenly he left without saying anything to anyone. He left all his things at home and his mobile phone. We are appealing for my brother to be found because he has not been very well recently. He also has a small son, 9 years old" , he said.
