Yesterday evening, the yacht "Dartista 07" suffered an engine failure about 20 miles from Divjaka and was saved after the organization of the operation by the Captaincy of the Port of Durrës.

The news was announced by the General Maritime Directorate, which announces that after the Captaincy notified the ships that were near the yacht and it was saved thanks to the towing by the cargo ship "Spirit of Chenai". According to the General Maritime Directorate, the operation was carried out in record time.

"At 8:20 p.m., the Captaincy of the Port of Durres received a call from the yacht Dartista 07, which is located about 20 miles from Divjaka, asking for help as its engine is not working. The captain's office organizes the rescue operation and notifies the ships that are close to the yacht to provide rescue assistance. In a few minutes, contact is made with the Captain of the Spirit of Chenai, who was coming to Durres, who goes to the yacht's aid and ties up the Dartista 07 yacht and tows it towards the Durres port. The entire operation was completed in record time, saving the yacht and the yacht's personnel," the announcement states.
