Dozens of police forces, along with inspectors from the IKMT, IMT of the municipality, the engineering and fire brigade forces, arrived in the early hours of the morning in the tourist village of Theth, continuing the action to demolish unauthorized constructions.
Initially, the intervention began in a three-story building.
This building has been decided to be demolished with explosives due to its height and the inability to demolish it through the skylights.
Dede Kola, its owner, told the media: "They came at 5 in the morning, they surrounded my house. They told me to leave. Even if I had killed 30 people, they wouldn't have surrounded my house like that. There were at least 16 police cars."
"I don't understand. Why are they demolishing the land I inherited from my grandfather, I have no ownership conflict with anyone. If I had an ownership conflict, I would understand. I built the house in 2023, this year I put the roof on. They shouldn't let me build it. The damage here is over 300 thousand euros. The state should recognize the property that belongs to me ," Dedë Kola added.
