Eduart Reçi, 52 years old, businessman in the field of construction, lost his life in the Trauma hospital this Thursday morning, after being shot with a bullet in the head around midnight on Wednesday near his apartment in Tirana.

The victim was shot by at least one unidentified person on Elbasan street in the capital near the building he had built and where he lived, near the two faculties located in that area.

After watching the video at the scene, the police suspect that there was only one shot that hit Reci in the head, passing over.

The suspicions are that it is an assassination carried out by professional people, far from the classic street assassination schemes.

From the security cameras, only one gunshot can be heard and the moment when the 52-year-old originally from Dibra falls to the ground, but there are no other people nearby, adding to the police's suspicions that he was shot from a distance or from a height.

The fact that the execution was carried out with such precision raises doubts that Reçi may have been executed with firearms equipped with binoculars.

But the bullet found at the scene does not lead investigators to suspect that the weapon was a sniper or a rifle with optical binoculars.

No casing was found at the scene.

The investigative team is working to open remote cameras in hopes of identifying the suspected perpetrator(s).

The footage captured Eduard Reçi as he walks and falls to the ground after a shot, the sound of which can also be heard on some security cameras that record sound.

It is suspected that the perpetrators have saved and waited for the moment when the 52-year-old man went out of the building and was alone.

Sources from the investigation group indicate that the family members of the 52-year-old man deny that their relative had conflicts with other people, as there are no criminal records.

Eduart Reçi has been dealing with his construction company for several years, while earlier he was the director of a directorate at the SHISH institution.

As a clue to solving the murder of businessman Eduart Reçi, the police have focused their investigations on two cases. The first in that of any possible conflict on property issues and the second track, that of any conflict in business.

In the meantime, the police has set up an investigative group that is working to identify and arrest the perpetrator(s). The event is being considered an assassination attempt.
