EMRI / KPA confirms the dismissal of the judge of the Court of Appeal in Tirana

The judge of the Court of Appeal in Tirana, Evjeni Sinojmeri, has been dismissed from office by the panel of judges of the Special Appeals Panel unanimously.

KPA upheld decision no. 378, dated 30.04.2021 of the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK).

During the re-evaluation process carried out in the Independent Qualification Commission in 2021, the body headed by Genta Tafa Bungo with rapporteur Suela Zhegun and member

Brunilda Bekteshin announced that Sinojmeri had been asked several times to appear or present a defense attorney, but she had not responded nor had she received the file materials. KPK concluded that Sinojmeri did not justify the wealth.

The judging panel of the Special Appeal Board, consisting of Albana Shtylla as chairperson, Sokol Çomo as relator, Ina Rama, Mimoza Tasi, Natasha Mulaj as member, announced the decision on case no. 39/2021, dated 21.07.2021, relating to the appeal of the subject of the revaluation Evjeni Sinojmeri against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 378, dated 30.04.2021.

At the end of the trial in the counseling room, the jury, based on article 66, point 1, letter "a" of law no. 84/2016, "On the transitional reassessment of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania", unanimously decided:

Enacting the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 378, dated 30.04.2021, which belongs to the subject of the revaluation Evjeni Sinojmeri.

This decision is final and has immediate effect.
