A 50-year-old man of Albanian origin tragically lost his life this afternoon in Greece.

The serious incident occurred in Larisa, where shortly before 6 pm, he was working with a chainsaw on a tree, reports Greek media outlet Protothema.

Under unclear circumstances, the 50-year-old lost control of the electric saw he was carrying, causing him to fall from the tree and the cutting tool to land on his foot.

The cut caused by the saw was in the femoral artery, causing uncontrollable bleeding, resulting in his death.

The ambulance arrived at the scene and took the injured man, but the 50-year-old did not survive his injuries.
