The author of the knife attack in Ferizaj, Kosovo, which injured four passers-by, is suspected of suffering from mental health problems and that he was drunk during the incident.

Journalist Leonita Bajrami for "Top Story" from Ferizaj, gave details about the event.

"He was an alcoholic and had mental problems. He carried out the attack in Ferizaj, after following the two minor girls, one 10 years old and the other 14. At the entrance of the house where they were staying, he stabbed them from behind. He continued the attack on a street above where he attacked a 30-year-old man, he carried out the fourth attack about 1.1km further, hitting a person in his 30s. He was arrested about 3 km away from the scene.

As for the health condition of the injured, the third person attacked is in serious condition. He has facial injuries and will undergo another operation. The 10-year-old girl also arrived with serious injuries, but her condition has stabilized. The other two are out of danger. It seems that people who were nearby reacted towards the injured. Residents said that he was an alcoholic. The attacker is from the Albanian community, the three injured are from the minority community and another Albanian", reported journalist Leonita Bajrami.
