Even though she recently stated that she "does not talk about people who have nothing to do with her life," it is inevitable for MP Monika Kryemadhi not to mention her ex-husband Ilir Meta in statements to the media.
Their marriage has been over for months now, yet they have been together for almost three decades.
" Maybe Albanians don't remember...", Kryemadhi said to SPAK, confessing that at the time when he had not yet celebrated with Meta, they had lived with her mother for some time.
"When I got pregnant with my first daughter, we were neither engaged nor married to Ilir Meta. We were both like two young people who eat anything that flies. He opened the door of the house for me, gave me two rooms so that we could live with Ilir Meta. Then my father got sick and she needed me. We have lived together since '98," Kryemadhi said.
This snippet of confession came after the PL MP was asked where she will stay now that the Special Appeal has seized her apartment. She left open the possibility of returning to her mother's house, as she once did. However, she says she will follow the legal process all the way to Strasbourg.
