Status:

The accusations of the US Department of Justice against former senior FBI official McGonigal for involvement in illegal financial transactions with a Russian oligarch, which includes his trip to Albania and the meeting with Edi Rama in 2017, urgently require transparency and in-depth investigation.

The empty rhetoric about the consumption of today's politics does not clarify this extremely important issue for Albania's relationship with the USA. Disclosure as soon as possible and complete transparency is what helps not only to inform the public correctly but also to maintain a healthy relationship with our strategic partner.
