Ilir Meta has once again submitted a request to the Supreme Court for release from prison.

The former President of the Republic has filed an appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal, which refused to replace the security measure of "prison arrest" with a milder measure.

The appeal was registered with the Supreme Court on September 8, while the rapporteur for the case has not yet been selected.
