The High Court has set October 9 as the date for the review of Ilir Meta's appeal against the "prison arrest" measure imposed about a year ago by the Special Court and left in force until now by the judiciary.
Meta's appeal came after the recent decision of the Special Anti-Corruption Appeal, which left the measure unchanged.
Meanwhile, the GJKKO has set September 25, at 11:00, for the first preliminary hearing in the case of former President Meta and four other people who have been indicted by SPAK.
The request will be reviewed by Judge Irena Gjoka, who was assigned by electronic lottery to pass the file for trial, return it for completion of documents, or dismiss the case.
