The dead body found in the village of Mollas in Korça is identified

The Kolonja police station clarifies the incident where an almost decomposed corpse was found in the village of Mollas.

The corpse was discovered by a resident of the area who alerted the police on July 7. The latter sent monsters for DNA analysis and also for anthropological expertise to make it possible to identify the corpse.

It is learned that today the victim was identified, specifically a 75-year-old man, who lived in the city of Korça. In June of this year, it was the victim's wife who reported to the Korça police station that she had lost contact with her husband.

After scientific analysis, the identity of the 75-year-old was also confirmed. Islam Fixha allegedly suffered from health problems, specifically from memory loss (sclerosis) and died of natural causes in the village of Mollas in Kolonja. On the part of the police of Kolonja, work continues to fully document the event.
