Internationally wanted, 28-year-old Norwegian arrested in Durrës (NAME)

Sebastian Templet, 28 years old, a Norwegian citizen, has been arrested in the Plepave area of ​​Durrës, after being declared internationally wanted by Norwegian and Albanian authorities.

His arrest was carried out by specialists from the Investigation Sector (FAST Albania) at the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in cooperation with the services of the Durrës DVP, as part of another phase of the operation codenamed "Fast".

According to the Police, Templet was declared an international wanted person after Norwegian judicial authorities, in April 2026, issued an arrest warrant against him for intimidation and disturbing the public peace.

Meanwhile, in Albania, the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction has assigned the security measure of "prison arrest" in May 2026, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

The operation to locate and capture the 28-year-old was carried out in coordination with Interpol Tirana and counterparts in Norway.

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Norwegian authorities, continues the procedures for the extradition of Sebastian Templet to Norway.
