The reason for the execution, suspected of being carried out with a silenced weapon, of 34-year-old Kristian Kola, who was shot to death outside a bar on the evening of September 4 in downtown Shkodra, remains a mystery.

Kristian Kola is suspected of being executed by a hired killer.

So far, the police have not yet tracked down the perpetrators who carried out a mafia-style execution.

According to police sources, two people on a motorcycle guarded the 34-year-old in front of the bar where he was staying in the Cinema area for a relatively long time.

The victim was initially with 2 other people, but at that moment the perpetrators walked around observing the situation and then returned to their observation point without firing.

At the moment when the other two people left and Kristian Kola was about to get into his car to leave, the perpetrators calculated his movement and approached him, shooting him several times with a silenced pistol.

They then quickly fled in an unknown direction.

One of the perpetrators got off the motorcycle and shot him, leaving him dead on the spot, and then drove away with the motorcycle driver.

The shots were not heard in the area because the pistol was suspected to have been silenced.

The police suspect that the motorcycle the perpetrators were riding was followed two nights ago in the Bardhajv area, but they were unable to stop it. It is being verified whether it is the same one or not, although investigators are talking about another motorcycle in this incident.

The victim was a person who moved freely in Shkodra throughout the day and had no previous criminal record.

Together with his father, they had a construction company and were recently laying tiles in the reconstruction of the Cinema in Shkodra.

About a year and a half ago, the victim had a conflict for weak motives, but that conflict has been closed and does not stand as an investigative lead for the police.

While the 34-year-old has been abroad for short periods twice, there are no reports of his involvement in any possible conflict.

The investigative group continues to work together with the prosecution to enable the full disclosure of the serious incident that occurred in Shkodra.
