Police in Thessaloniki have arrested a couple after their two children were found by a driver walking on the road.

According to information, the arrested are a man from Albania and a woman from Bulgaria.

The couple's arrest, according to ELAS, occurred when their two minor children, aged 1 and 2, were spotted by a driver passing through the Charilaou area, walking on the road.

It is suspected that the two children escaped their parents' attention and ran away from home.  They started walking down the street, not realizing the danger.
