A cardiac arrest took the life of journalist Nimet Isufi at a young age, 42 years old.

The news of his loss was announced yesterday by friends and colleagues.

"With deep sadness, I inform you that our friend and former journalist colleague Nimet Isufi passed away unexpectedly this afternoon due to a cardiac arrest. May Allah have mercy on him and make him one of the inhabitants of paradise" wrote Almer Toska.

Nimet Isufi was born in Shkodër, and graduated from the Department of Journalism at the University of Tirana.

After working for years as a journalist in several newspapers in Tirana, such as "Republika", "Metropol", "Epoka" and then moved to the public relations sector, working as the head of PR at Epoka University, Kastrati Group.

The funeral will take place today, 11.08.2022, at 16:00 in the village of Kuç, Shkodër, while the burial will take place in the village of Alimetaj in Oblikë, Shkoder.
