The two prisoners in the 41 biss regime, Redjan Rraja and Eldi Cala, have gone on strike in the last few days where they have refused ready meals. Journalist Anila Hoxha informs that the reason why the two prisoners are on strike is because the prison officials have not fulfilled their request to have a television in the strictest control cells.
This is the second strike in a short time in the 41 biss regime, where only a short time ago all the prisoners went on strike, after demanding the adjustment of food meals, which was granted. In relation to the first strike, an investigation has also been launched, as to how it was agreed between the prisoners for a general strike, since it is assumed that they have no contact with each other.
Redjan Rraja turns out to have been involved in two events that created a great impact on Albanian public opinion, such as the murder of Elton Çiço and the violence against Xjisiela Maloku. Redjan Rraja was sentenced to 8 months in prison by the Tirana Court, after being accused of "actions that prevent the discovery of the truth" in the murder of his friend, Elton Çiço, on May 1, 2016.
At that time, the court accused Redjan Rraja of having shown the actions of the victim in his company, before he was shot to death, in a bar in the area of the former Block, in Tirana. Rraja was sitting at the table with Cicho, when the latter was shot with a volley of bullets, remaining dead on the spot.
Meanwhile, the name of Redjan Rraja also appears in the sensational incident of violence against Xisiela Maloku. It was the former officer of Fushë Kruja, Emiljano Nuhu, who reported to police station number 6, in Tirana, that he was threatened by Redjan and Ramazan Rraja, for the "Xisiela" case.
Eldi Çala was arrested immediately after the country was quarantined during the covid pandemic. He was hiding in the Durrës area and was wanted for a long time as being involved in the theft of 4.6 million euros in Rinas, a robbery in which the citizen Admir Murataj was killed. Currently in the "41 biss" regime are Viktor Ymeri, Aleksandër Llanaj, Arbër Çekaj, Fatmir Pjetri, Kelend Çala, Eldi Çala and Redjan Rraja.
