Rama said that he understands the outraged reaction of citizens regarding the violence used by private police towards the State Police and protesters.

He also said that the police should not trivialize violence, but should immediately arrest the perpetrators.

Rama: I also want to speak to the public today regarding the situation created for the investment in the Zvërnec area. I want to start with a direct message to those who are revolted and have lined up against me personally, after they saw the disgusting act of dragging one of the protesters in Zvërnec.

I have heard, read and understand you very well. I can even assure you that in your country I would be equally revolted and would line up against the government and especially against the prime minister.

It would seem terrible to me that some private security guards, in the eyes of the state police, would howl like animals and take a man in his own right, drag him to the fenced beach, and then the police would say that the person entered the private area on his own, while they should have arrested those who dragged the protester on the spot.

I would have done even worse than you if they had told me that that land belongs to the state and that the state is giving it to foreigners, and I have even noticed that the legend that the state is giving that land to Israel to bring Palestinians to Zvernec has been spread with great venom.

What if they told me that some Russians have entered there, in collaboration with Albanian oligarchs, they are razing the protected area and are going to build some palaces?

If they told me that the money of the international mafia and other things would be laundered there, what they told you and then you said, distributing it
