Banana company Alba Exotic Fruit will remain under sequestration. This is the decision taken by the Supreme Court, rejecting the appeal request.

"Rejection of the recourse of the Company "Alba Exotic Fruit" sh.pk, against decision no. 20, dated 01.02.2022 of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime", it is stated in the public notice of the Supreme Court.

The owner of the company "Alba Exotic Fruit", Eduart Dauti, has been in prison since April 6. In the banana containers of this company, cocaine was found 6 times with an amount of about 180 kg.

Two weeks ago, the Special Court gave three months to SPAK to investigate the cocaine traffic caught in the containers of the company "Alba Exotic Fruit" that brought bananas to Albania. The deadline has been set until October 13, 2022 as SPAK says it is waiting for letters of order from the Netherlands and Ecuador.
