A serious incident happened in Kavaja, with a 64-year-old man stabbing his son-in-law.

According to the Police report, the 46-year-old man with the initials LD was immediately escorted to the Regional Hospital of Durrës, where he received first aid and is out of danger.

Also, the Police announces that thanks to the timely response and quick actions, they escorted the father-in-law of the 46-year-old, a 64-year-old PD citizen.

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the PD citizen injured his son-in-law with a cutting tool (knife) for family reasons, after the 46-year-old first had a conflict with his wife and then it is suspected that the father-in-law intervened to help the girl his, where during this conflict the latter wounded him with a knife.

Police Notification:

He injured his son-in-law with a cutting tool, the 64-year-old, suspected author of the injury, is accompanied to the Police.

Around 17:00, citizen LD, 46 years old, resident of neighborhood no. 3, Kavajë, was injured with a cutting tool (knife), out of danger to life, went to the Durrës Regional Hospital for medical help.

The Police Services and the investigative team, upon receiving the notification, went immediately to the hospital and to the place where the incident took place (at the residence of citizen L. D) and, thanks to the timely response and quick actions, escorted the father-in-law of 46-year-old, DP citizen, 64 years old.

The investigative group, under the guidance of the willing Prosecutor, is working for the complete clarification of the circumstances of the event and the complete legal documentation of the case.
