The president of the AFL, Armand Duka, expressed his condolences to Alban Bush, the coach of the "U-21" national team, who lost his parents in a tragic road accident in Greece.
"I just learned the painful news about the tragic and premature death of two extraordinary parents, good people, Ali and Bukurije Bushi, in an accident in Greece.
At this difficult moment, my thoughts go to Albani and all the other family members, who, in addition to the sadness of this great loss, will also face the immeasurable lack of parental love.
On my own behalf and on behalf of the Albanian Football Federation, where Albani has spent many years as part of this great family, I express my sincerest condolences.
May their memory never be forgotten", writes the Duke in his message.
The serious accident happened today on "Egnatia" road, on the Veria - Thessaloniki axis, near Kouloura Imathias.
The van with license plate P "MX-8942" driven by 47-year-old Greek Marios Simitliotis collided with the "Mercedes-Benz" type vehicle with Albanian license plate "AB 454 GF" driven by 75-year-old Albanian Ali Bushi.
As a result of the collision, 75-year-old Ali Bushi and 71-year-old passenger Bukurije Bushi lost their lives. The Greek citizen, who was arrested by the police, was also slightly injured.
