Two people were killed in an assassination attempt that took place today in Dobraç, Shkodra. One of the victims is Hamza Lici and a bystander, while Arlind Bushati was seriously injured.

Arlind Bushati was threatened with a firearm a few days ago. The event was recorded on October 11 of this year, where the two people who were moving on a motorcycle, approached the table where Arlind Bushati and some of his friends were.

One of the suspected perpetrators got off the motorcycle, took out an apparently automatic weapon, and pointed it at Arlind Bushati, but no shots were fired.

This situation has created panic among the citizens who were in the bar where Arlind Bushati, the son of Xhemal Bushati, was staying, where the latter was the Democratic Party's candidate for mayor in Shkodër for the partial local elections of March 6, 2022.

32-year-old Arlind Bushati addressed the police of Shkodra, reporting the incident, but although the police of Shkodra seized the security footage in the area where the incident took place, they cannot identify and then arrest the perpetrators.

We recall that in March of 2022, Arlind Bushati's father, Xhemal Bushati, had explosives planted in a building he owned in Shkodra's pedestrian area.
