Another base is discovered, which is suspected of supplying criminal groups with firearms and military ammunition.

Kalashnikovs, grenades, sniper binoculars, weapon combs and thousands of cartridges of different calibers are seized.

The owner of the apartment is put in handcuffs.

2 days ago, the Durrës Police discovered another criminal base, from which 4 Kalashnikovs, 20 combs and a large amount of cartridges were seized.

Within the framework of successive police operations, with a focus on the attack on the criminal activity of illegal possession of weapons and the prevention of their use by the criminal contingent, for serious events, the specialists of the Section against Illegal Trafficking, in cooperation with those of the Special Operational Force of DVP Durrës, based on police intelligence information, provided following the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Hills 2".

As a result of the operation, a base was discovered in Sukth, where firearms, a large amount of cartridges of various calibers and other illegal items, which were suspected to serve criminal groups, were kept.

From the controls in this environment, the following were found and seized as material evidence: 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 grenade, grenade launcher, 1 pair of sniper binoculars, weapon comb, 1 military belt with cartridges and thousands of other cartridges of different calibers.

Also, during the operation, the owner of the apartment suspected of serving as a base, citizen AS, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
