60-year-old Alban Kukaviqi, who in July was injured by the propeller of a dinghy, in the bay of Saint Jan on the Karaburun peninsula, has died in Turkey.

The 60-year-old who had gone on vacation with his family, after being injured by the dinghy on his leg, headed to Turkey to receive more specialized treatment, but did not survive the serious accident.

Alban Kukaviqi, a former basketball player, died during the third operation he was doing for his leg. He was going to get a prosthesis, but due to the weakness from the first two operations, he was unable to maintain the anesthesia.

'Deeply affected by the untimely loss of our dear colleague, Alban Kukaviqi, who in his 31-year professional career, at this institution, has made a valuable contribution to labor inspection.
