After committing robberies, the criminal group returned to Albania with the stolen items.

Spanish Civil Guard agents, as part of the "Hábitat Bucle" operation, have managed to dismantle a criminal organization based in San Sebastián de los Reyes and San Agustín del Guadalix.

The group is attributed to several burglaries in apartments in Madrid and Toledo, specifically in Boadilla del Monte, Villanueva de la Cañada, Torrelodones, Las Rozas, Majadahonda, Griñón, Paracuellos del Jarama, Pozuelo de Alarcón and Esquivias.

This is a criminal group that regularly traveled to Spain to carry out "criminal campaigns" and then returned to its home country, in this case Albania, with the stolen items. Previously, the group had also carried out other criminal campaigns in Spain.

To carry out the robberies, they chose individual houses in residential areas and entered through doors or windows, using the “resbalón” method, a technique for opening the door without necessarily breaking the lock.

The robbery was carried out within a few minutes. The break-ins usually occurred in the late afternoon. Two of the members would enter the apartment to take valuables, while the third would stand outside in a vehicle, guarding the area.

This is not the only criminal group that has recently been dismantled by the Civil Guard. Another itinerant criminal organization, originating from Georgia, has also been dismantled.

In this case, the organization was based in Coslada and is accused of carrying out forced robberies in apartments in Tres Cantos, Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Arganda del Rey and Valdemoro. The group consisted of three people and operated in high-rise buildings located in middle-class residential areas.

One of them was responsible for checking the apartments. He would put signs on the apartment doors to see if the apartment was occupied or not. After making sure that no one was inside, they would use various methods to open the locks, such as bumping, using lockpicks, or impressing, depending on the type of lock.

They would then enter the apartment and steal valuables, such as jewelry, watches, bags, and cash. This group had the peculiarity of committing robberies during the morning hours, managing to commit up to two or three robberies in one day.

The modus operandi was that two people, always a man and a woman, would enter the building, while the third member would stand outside and check for any sign of police presence.

With these two operations, the number of criminal groups specialized in this type of activity that the Civil Guard has dismantled during 2026 reaches 7. In total, 26 people have been arrested in different places and 120 robberies have been solved./ Cadena Ser
