A 24-year-old man in Mallakastër was injured after being shot with scissors by a person.

The police say they have arrested the suspected perpetrator, 30-year-old Armelin Hoxha, who shot 24-year-old Xhesild Yzeiraj with scissors after a momentary conflict.

The latter is in the hospital under the care of doctors.

Police Notification:

The injured with a cutting tool (scissors), a 24-year-old man, after a momentary conflict, is identified and immediately accompanied by the Police, the suspected perpetrator.

Around 9:00 p.m., in the "5 February" neighborhood, Ballsh, it is suspected that after a momentary conflict, citizen Xh. was injured with a cutting tool (scissors). Y., 24 years old, resident of Ballsh, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services have organized the work, in order to clarify the circumstances of this case, as well as to identify and capture the author.

Thanks to the quick and professional operational actions, the Police services immediately identified and accompanied to the Police premises, the suspected author of this event, the citizen AH, 30 years old, resident in Ballsh, for further procedural actions.

The investigative group continues its work for the clarification and full legal documentation of this case.
