A serious incident has been prevented in the Great Highlands. It all started after a fight over wrong passing, inciting an argument between two young men.

Citizen Mark Preka was declared wanted for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."

Police notification:

"After a momentary conflict for wrong passing with a vehicle, between MP citizens, 28 years old, and A. Gj., 23 years old, the MP citizen left and took the automatic firearm he was carrying.

The immediate intervention of the services of the Vau i Deja Police Station has prevented the escalation of the conflict between these two citizens. During the pursuit by the Police, the MP citizen threw down the firearm and ran away.

Following the procedural actions for this case, the proceeding has started in a free state, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of the crime", for the citizens AH, 21 years old, K. Sh., 19 years old, RH, 30 years old and Xh. H., 25 years old, all residents of the village of Barbullush, Vau i Dejës, after trying to hide the firearm that the MP citizen was carrying," the police announced.

The work to capture the MP citizen continues

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
