I arrest and operationalize "No Chance"

The police operation codenamed No Chance has ended successfully, leading to the arrest of eight suspects as part of a criminal group engaged in falsifying documents and helping to cross the border illegally.

This operation, coordinated by the Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics and Traffic in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force and the Criminal Police Department, took place under the direction of the Gjirokastrës Prosecution.

The operation was carried out after a 9-month investigation followed by special methods, and resulted in the arrest of 8 citizens, who were charged with the criminal offenses of "Aiding illegal crossing of borders", "Falsification of documents", "Falsification of forms, stamps and stamps", and "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions".

Police notification:

It is finalized by the Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics and Drugs, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in the Criminal Police Department, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of Gjirokastra, the police operation codenamed "No chance".

Eight citizens are being handcuffed, part of the criminal group that exercised criminal activities to falsify documents and provide assistance for illegal crossing of the border.

There is a laboratory that used to falsify documents. The laboratory, a considerable amount of money, vehicles and other illegal items used to exercise criminal activity, were sequestrated.

During the operation, two Iranians were arrested in the country.

The Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics and Drugs, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in the Direction of the Prosecution at the Court of first instance of General Jurisdiction Gjirokastër, as a result of a 9-month investigation followed by special methods, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "No chance".

Within this operation, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed for 8 citizens.

Security measures are appointed by the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Gjirokastër, for criminal offenses "Assistance for illegal crossing of borders", "Falsification of documents", "Falsification of forms, stamps and stamps" and "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising pubic functions".

The "Arrest in Prison" security measures have been executed, for citizens:

A. H., 32 years old, resident in Tepelenë;
M. D., 40 years old, resident in Fier;
F. P., 56, resident in Konispol;
M.H., 40 years old, resident in Tepelenë;
Y. Sh., 56, resident in Gjirokastër;
A. S., 54, resident in Gjirokastër;
J. Ç., 51, resident in Gjirokaster;
N. T., 52, resident in Gjirokaster.

These citizens are suspected that during 2023 and 2024, they have committed the criminal activity of providing assistance for illegal crossing of the border and falsifying documents, against profit.
