"Partizan" trial, Berisha and four other defendants appear in court on

The Special Court has set June 30, at 10:00, for the first hearing on the merits regarding the privatization of the former "Partizani" sports club.

Five people have been named as defendants in this case, including former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, businessman Fatmir Bektashi, and Andia Pustina and Xhimi Begeja.

The process is expected to attract great public and political attention, as it represents one of the most sensitive issues pursued by SPAK.
