The appeal of the Special Court has upheld the decision of the First Instance for the 15 defendants arrested in the framework of the "Limit" operation, leaving them all behind bars.

They are accused of drug trafficking. According to investigations, this group provided cannabis seeds in the Netherlands, which were transited first to Greece and then to Albania, where they were cultivated. The narcotics were trafficked to Greece, Turkey and other EU countries, where these criminal groups had set up their own drug trafficking network.

Sentence for each defendant:

1. 2. 8. Kristo Çobaj dënohet me 12 vite burg, me gjykim të shkurtuar do të kryejë 8 vite, akuzohet për veprën penale "Trafikimi i narkotikëve", kryer në bashkëpunim në kuadër të grupit të strukturuar kriminal.

9. 9. Aleksander Pepi (alias Aleksandër Bani) dënohet me 12 vite burg, me gjykim të shkurtuar do të kryejë 8 vite, akuzohet për për veprën penale "Trafikimi i narkotikëve", mbetur në tentativë, kryer në bashkëpunim në kuadër të grupit te strukturuar kriminal

10. Festim Çorbaxhi (alias Bajraktari) dënohet me 12 vite burg, me gjykim të shkurtuar do të kryejë 8 vite, akuzohet për për veprën penale "Trafikimi i narkotikëve", mbetur në tentativë, kryer në bashkëpunim në kuadër të grupit te strukturuar kriminal.

11. Hysni Sadiku dënohet me 9 vite burg, me gjykim të shkurtuar do të kryejë 6 vite, akuzohet për për veprën penale "Trafikimi i narkotikëve", mbetur në tentativë, kryer në bashkëpunim në kuadër të grupit te strukturuar kriminal.

12. Bektash Zenel is sentenced to 8 years in prison, with a shortened trial will serve 5 years is charged with the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration within a structured criminal group

13. Gjergji Muke is sentenced to 5 years in prison, with a shortened trial he will serve 3 (three) years and 4 (four) months, he is charged with the criminal offense "Failure to escalate the crime".
