The Supreme Court of Albania has received the status of associate member in the Association of State Councils and Senior Administrative Jurisdictions of the European Union (ACA Europe). This membership came at the request of the Deputy President of the High Court, Sokol Sadushi.

The proceedings of the General Assembly of this body, focusing on the administrative trial, took place on 23 and 24 May, with the participation of the Deputy President of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, invited by the President of the State Council of the Republic of Italy, and ACA Europe President Franco Frattini.

The press release states that during the meeting between Frattini and Sadushi, opinions were exchanged on Albania's progress towards the closest and most complete integration of Albania in the EU, one of the conditions of which is the guarantee of a judicial system. effective and professional.

Sokol Sadushi greeted the General Meeting of ACA-Europe, and expressed gratitude and appreciation for the admission of the Supreme Court of Albania in the district of ACA-Europe.
