The Special Court of Appeals has decided the confiscation of 3.4 million euros found inside two "Toyota Auris" vehicles in 2018 in the port of Durres, leaving in force the decision of the first instance.

It is learned that the amount of 3.4 million euros will pass to the Albanian state. The first instance of the GJKKO decided in late October to confiscate the money but it was appealed.

For the 'Toyota Auris' file, Elvis Vladi was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for non-declaration of income. The two vehicles with 3.4 million euros were seized in Durrës on June 24, 2018.

Regarding this file, in February this year he was questioned by Belgian prosecutors and former chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha, as he was the first to denounce it in the Assembly hall, before the money was seized.
