How did the event happen in 2012?
Citizen Gentian Shkreta was killed on the spot and his brother was seriously injured in an ambush set up by two members of the Llanaj family on November 4, 2012.
The murder, according to the police, occurred when two citizens, Muharrem Llanaj and Jetmir Llanaj, the father of the 9-year-old, who was killed in June of this year by the two sons of the Shkreta family, set up an ambush.
According to police, two brothers Gentian and Leli Shkreta were returning from Serbia when they were shot dead near a gas station, near the Droj River bridge. Police have announced a search for the two suspected perpetrators.
In June, Olgert and Mariglen Shkreta killed Jetmir Llanaj's 9-year-old son during an assassination attempt, causing the two Llanaj and Shkreta families to become enemies.
Mark Shkreta, the father of the two perpetrators, was killed on the morning of July 20 in the capital. He had left Mamurras and was staying in an apartment on the outskirts of Tirana, but on the morning of July 20 he was shot dead with a gunshot.
Police immediately arrested the father of the murdered child, but released him due to lack of evidence. Police have evidence that the murder was committed out of revenge.
The entire tragic story of the conflict between the two families, Shkreta and Llanaj, came about after a banal quarrel that occurred in Mamurras, between the father of the 9-year-old child and a member of the Shkreta family.
In retaliation, they went out into the street and fired at the vehicle that was picking up the child from school. The bullets wounded the uncle and took the child's life.
